>>2106 Well, it's been more or less detailed in the other threads but since we're here I'll give you the sad news. We got the German version. Instead of L4D levels of violence where zombies would bleed a bit and fall over, maybe with a part blown off, or blown into a fine mist by a pipe bomb we basically got ultra carebear mode. Infected when they are killed just fade out, often times before they've even hit the ground. Use a pipe bomb? Everything's gone as the explosion happens. There is no sense of any impact or worth to any melee weapons because infected just spastic out and fade out. But it gets worse from there. Infected who are on fire are no longer visibly on fire. They just stumble around waving their arms around like they're in a spontaneous zombie mosh and then they fade out. Special Infected fade out, and if they are on fire apart from the tank you will not see it (I set a witch on fire, nothing). To top it all off, because the bullet-resistent uncommon common infected were SWAT police, they are removed from Australian versions. But it gets worse, because anyone playing with an Australian person also doesn't get to see any. They just don't spawn. What this essentially means is that not only is the Australian copy of L4D2 overcensored, it actually cuts content from people with uncensored purchases. It was actually the fact that my shitty version would actually ruin other people's games for no reason that made me decide to attempt to cancel.
