General PSP recording information

Relevant info

My PSP captures are generally Recorded with RemoteJoyLite v.19 + Fraps 3.4.7, encoded in 10bit x264 (CRF 22, colorprim/colormatrix/transfer = smpte170m, FFMS, SmoothLevels pc2tv) and audio is 320kbps AAC.

Youtube has audio problems on 360p or lower videos (which PSP videos are), it normalizes and fucks with the quality / lowers the volume. Common fix is to up the dB but I don’t want to since that distorts the sound a bit. Turn up system volume or use a plugin to download the videos (MP4 is best quality). Downloading file gives you proper, original audio.

I’m capping all of this for easy future reference of all the dialogue in the game. Check out the status on TL project here.

The reason I use “Sayo” instead of “Yuu” for evening (even though it looks retarded) is because I want alphabetical order for easy sorting in my file directories. Asa (morn), Hiru (noon), Sayo (eve), Yoru (night) = stuff is sorted alphabetically correctly, but if I were to use English words, or “yuu” for evening, it wouldn’t be alphabetical. I only know that 小夜(sayo) can be read as evening because of the game Shikigami no Shiro.

Badge #003: ビートルバッジ (Beetle Badge)

I fixed my graphical errors. I was using the wrong “Shadow Curing” AR code; I was kinda wondering why my shadows weren’t cured at all (lol). Game looks 100% proper now (above is SS that shows proper tree/bush lines + building shadows), so I’m pretty happy about that. Might retake those SS from that cool area in Sanyo City.

Aww butts, as I was backtracking to check out places to cut with HM01, I found some shaking grass. Getto daze. タブンネ are kinda cute, but also kinda derpy. That only adds to their charm, though. Was worth going back for that Super Ball and Nice Potion.

あたし　って　サイコウ♪！ (I’m the best ♪!)

I’ve already played Pokemon White a little bit before, on a legit copy. I got as far as the third badge, but switched to emulator because I wanted to start taking screenshots and stuff; so I started over.

I also hacked in my own starter pokemon, because screw the starters. I will be using this Pokemon throughout most of the game. It’s a ピッピ(Pippi/Clefariy) named ののワ(Nonowa).
